I'm a Christian female who is currently looking for an apartment to share or a room for rent with a family, or other Christian females. I need to move by noon on August 7th. Send me (Rebekah) an email if you, or someone you know, are looking for a roommate/renter. (r.gundlach@hotmail.com)
ThirdPlace is based on the idea that people tend to have an area besides home and work that helps them feel complete. As part of the post-college crowd in State College, Pennsylvania, we found that people our age needed more opportunities to meet each other, have fun, and build each other up outside of the office or school. There are hundreds of people our age in the State College area, but given that we’re not part of the local undergraduate population anymore and that we may have broader interests than the local bar scene, we’re harder to find and tend to blend into the background of this great area. But no longer, my friend, no longer...
We have a structured social event once a month – things like BBQs, holiday and annual Super Bowl parties, bonfires, etc. We hope that you’ll consider joining us at a few of our events and we welcome the chance to get to know you better!

Arts Fest Volunteers needed for Community Help Centre's drink stand
All of the donations that are received go to support the many programs that the Community Help Centre provides for the community.
The stand is open for all of the hours that the Arts Fest is running:
Wed, July 7th 9am - 4pm
Thurs, July 9th 9am - 9pm
Fri, July 10th 9am - 9pm
Sat, July 11th 9am - 9pm
Sun, July 12th 9am - 5pm
Most help is needed in the evenings (after 4pm) and on Saturday. We need to have a minimum of 2 people working at all times. If you'd like to sign up with a partner, that will work great or I can pair you with another one of our volunteers.
There is a bit of heavy lifting to do in terms of refilling our coolers when they are empty. We are mostly interested in having friendly volunteers who will smile and say thank you and keep drinks cold and available.
Please let me know how many hours you are willing to do in total as well as what times you are available. I will then do my best to fit you in to a time that works well for you and for us.
Please feel free to email me (llutton@communityhelpcentre.com ) or call me with any additional questions. I can be reached at 814-237-0032.

Apartment for Rent
Located on the corner of Garner and Irving is an unfurnished basement apartment with separate, ground-level entrance. There is a large living space, large kitchen, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms (1 big, 1 little), and a porch/yard. The rent was $700 for the last tenants but may increase to $750- includes cable, heat (boiler room), water, refuse, but internet and electric are separate. Since heating is via a boiler and there is no AC (stays cool because in basement), electric bills are low. Dogs are allowed, but not cats. For more info contact Nick (ncjackson20@gmail.com).
