7:00pm-9:00pm at Harvest Fields

We have seen God do incredible things in and through the ThirdPlace community. It is our desire to stop and celebrate the great things that God is doing!

The celebration will be an intimate, relaxed, out-door setting at Harvest Fields, at the top of the hill. We’ll be spending time together while enjoying appetizers and desserts, with live music in the background and the beauty of the Harvest Fields land before us! Following that, we will have a time of sharing … a time to encourage one another with what God is doing in and through us all. There will also be a time of worship and prayer at the end of the evening to specifically bless and pray for people transitioning to another stage in their lives (couples who are newly engaged or married, people moving to different locations, people going on short term missions trips, etc.).
We want to bless people as they transition....so if you are leaving State College, or just transitioning in some way, we’d love, LOVE to share, pray for you, and celebrate you! It will be a time for all of us to come together, to encourage one another, and celebrate together!

This event is open to all, however, we’ll be specifically recognizing and praying for those who are transitioning in some way...so please join us as we celebrate together, eat together, and send off our friends!

The Equipping Sessions: May 28th from 7pm-9pm in Fellowship Hall at 1250 University Drive

These sessions are to train and equip to be able to serve Jesus in different ways as He gives opportunity. Join us as we get healthy and outfit ourselves for the work of His Kingdom with lively training that includes: teaching, prayer, worship, and application. Will meet monthly on the last Thursday of the month. We want to equip and empower people and believe that this will give the Body an opportunity to learn from various speakers who will share on a number of different topics. Although each session will look different depending on the speaker, they will always include a time of worship in the beginning (15-20min), sharing (30min.), and then discussion and application (this will either be in small groups or otherwise, again depending on the speaker). Bruce Eveleth will be heading off this 2nd Session and will be speaking on Spiritual Gifting. We are looking forward to this time and hope that you can make it! ThirdPlace Prayer Retreat Saturday, June 13th at 8:30am-12:30pm at Harvest Fields:

With guest facilitators Denny & Gloria Rhule, the prayer retreat will be a unified time of corporate prayer and worship combined with solitude and time for reflection and connecting with God!

We'll join together in prayer that morning in the Log Room at Harvest Fields for a time of worship and corporate prayer from 8:30am-9:30am. Then we will break off for a time of reflection and solitude and you can go wherever you want (indoors or outdoors) and find some time to pray, journal, paint, sing...whatever you prefer! (9:30am-11:00am). We will come together then at 11:00am in the Log Room for a time of sharing, corporate worship and prayer. There will be some prayer guides made available to help better guide your time alone; feel free to use them or do your own thing. Bring whatever supplies you’ll need (journal, paints, music, etc) and join us for an exciting time to “unite in prayer” for the World, our community, and each other!

Also, we are putting together a selection of writings, blog entries, poems, songs, reflections, etc. written by various people in ThirdPlace to include in the Prayer Guides under “Thoughts & Reflections”....we really believe that we’re all gifted in various ways and can really learn so much from each other. Biking trails, sand beach area for swimming, fishing, hiking, and more!! It’s going to be a wonderful time, please feel free to invite anyone and everyone! This place is incredible!!
Bring a tent, sleeping bag, food, comfy clothes, swimming suit (if you want to swim), fishing equipment (if you want to fish), and an adventurous spirit! There will be a grill available, please bring your own food for grilling and something to share with the group :) We’ll provide plastic utensils, paper plates, cups, s’mores, snacks, charcoal and lighter fluid, water, firewood, and a few extra fun things.

We’ll be meeting at the Harvest Fields parking lot at the Barn at 5pm and carpooling from there. If you would like to get a ride with us, please meet us at that time...or you can also just meet us there. Rwanda Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser: Friday, June 12th at 6:30pm at 1250 University Drive:

Come support those who are trying to go to Rwanda this summer to help out at a Boys Home for Street Children! The dinner will begin at 6:30pm and it will be an open donation ($5 suggested donation)...we encourage you to tell your friends and fam and join us for a meal with a purpose! What: We will receive 15% of the profit that comes in between 5pm-8pm.

Spread the word! The more folks that come through the door and mention "fundraiser" when purchasing any food the more money goes to the team that’s going!
