Helpsline ministry at Calvary

We get requests to help people in the area with moving needs. A few requests have been people from Calvary, but in general they are people in the community who are not physically able to move themselves and do not have family/friends in the area that can help them out. The majority of the moves are usually done on Saturdays (whenever possible) since it makes it easier to find volunteers who work during the week. This is an opportunity to help out when you have time available and does not commit anyone to any specific opportunity or weekend. I send out an email or call to see who might be able to help once there is a move request in with a specific date/time established.
